Young Birders New Zealand is run by a team of six young birders who live right across New Zealand. Our goals are encouraging young New Zealanders to get into birding, learn more about the amazing birds in this country and to help them meet people with similar interests.

New Zealand Bird Atlas Launched

 
Birds new zealand officially launched the new zealand bird atlas at the 80th nz bird conference in wellington, over queen’s birthday weekend! this is the largest citizen science project in the country, and  aims to map the presence/ absence of birds throughout the entire country, and will continue for the next five years. all the information you need to get involved:  https://birdatlas.co.nz/
